Drawing Science Diagrams

Entries can be submitted till 25th October 2020.

Share 3 photographs of the drawing. 2 photographs showing the progress of drawing diagram and 1 showing clear and final diagram.

Only clear photographs would be considered.

 Do mention your topic and name on the sheet.

Share these 3 photographs with class in charge.

Result would be declared and updated on 27th October 2020.

Topic to be selected

  • Select any diagram from the mentioned list. These are diagrams from Science (Biology) of Grade 10th.

o Structure of Brain: Proper structure of brain wherein, you have to mention the Forebrain, Midbrain and Hindbrain. 

o  Human Excretory System: In this diagram you have to show all the parts of the system which includes two kidneys, urethra, ureters etc. 

o   Human Digestive System: Here you have to show the full process of digestion. You have to mention the mouth, liver, gallbladder, stomach, pancreas, small and large intestine, liver etc. 

o Structure of Heart: In this diagram, you have to show all the veins and arteries. 

o   Human Respiratory System: In this diagram, the students have to show the parts which help in respiration such as nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, lungs etc. 

o Human Male and Female Reproductive Organs: In these diagrams, you have to depict all the parts that all together make a reproductive system. 

o Structure of a Flower or Pollination in Flowers: Here you have to depict the structure of flowers with proper labeling. You have to draw and label parts like pistil, stamen etc. 

  • Use pencil to draw. Don’t fill any colours in the diagram
  • Detail labeling is mandatory.

Investiture  Ceremony Leading when it matters! The Investiture Ceremony is a proud moment for a school. The indomitable spirit of young talented leaders of St. Xavier’s World School was commemorated Investiture Ceremony on July 26, 2023. The investiture ceremony signifies the belief and poise that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. The deserving young Xavierites were formally bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. Curriculum activity 1- Wildlife Trivia (In-house Activity)

Aim of the Activity: The aim of this project is to study the endemic animals of India, Australia and The Republic of Madagascar with regards to their name, habitats and other interesting facts. Sub-Activity 1: Students watching different movies based on the endemic animals in the school premises. Students of Grade-1 Creating Paper Masks linking those to endemic animal after watching the movies in the Mask Making Competition. Sub-Activity 2: PPTs prepared by the teachers for the students of Grade-2 to let them know about the basic features of the endemic animals of the selected countries. Quiz Competition conducted for the students based on the PPTs they watched.
